AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT is among the most sought-after graphics cards in the market. If you’re lucky enough to own one already, it’s important that you keep its drivers up-to-date to unleash its full potential.

In this post, I’m going to show you how to update Radeon RX 5500 XT drivers, automatically and manually.

There are two ways you can update your Radeon RX 5500 XT drivers:

Option 1 – Automatically (Recommended) – This is the quickest and easiest option. It’s all done with just a couple of mouse clicks – easy even if you’re a computer newbie.  

OR

Option 2 – Manually – You’ll need some computer skills and patience to update your drivers this way, because you need to find exactly the right the driver online, download it and install it step by step.

Option 1 – Update Radeon RX 5500 XT drivers for Windows automatically (Recommended)

If you don’t have the time, patience or computer skills to update AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT driver manually, you can do it automatically with Driver Easy.

Option 2 – Update Radeon RX 5500 XT drivers manually

If you don’t mind doing the legwork yourself, or you’re on non-Windows operating system, you can follow the steps below to update your Radeon RX 5500 XT driver.

Updating your drivers incorrectly may cause instability or crashing issues to your system. Please proceed with caution.
  1. Navigate to AMD.com, then click DRIVERS & SUPPORT.
  2. Scroll down to the manual update section, then select Radeon RX 5500 XT from the drop-down lists. Respectively, you should choose Graphics > AMD Radeon 5500 Series > AMD Radeon RX 5500 Series > AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT. After that, click SUBMIT.
  3. You’ll be prompted to choose your edition of Operating System. Click the + symbol to unfold the available downloads for your driver. Be sure to download the first result for the latest update.
  4. Wait for the file to be downloaded.
  5. Once complete, open the file and follow the on-screen instructions to install the driver.
  6. Restart your computer for the changes to take effect.

Now congrats – you’ve already downloaded and installed the driver for your AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT graphics card.
