Feeling your photo doesn’t have the right size? You may be wondering how to change the size of your image on your Window computer or Mac. In fact, adjusting the size of an image is very easy, and you can do it for free. Just follow the instructions below, and you’ll learn how to resize images quickly and easily!

Adobe Spark

Adobe Spark is an integrated web and mobile solution that enables you to create and share your visual story from any device. And of course, you can resize the image with Spark quickly and easily!

You can use Spark from your favorite desktop broswer on both Windows and Mac machines, as well as on Chromebooks. If you’d like to use Spark on your iOS devices, you just need to download it in AppStore.

You can follow the instructions below to customize the image size with Spark:

  1. Visit the official site of Adobe Spark with your desktop browser.
  2. Click Start now.

  3. Spark allows you to set a custom size in width and height, and it also provides you with various templates like POPULAR, SOCLIAL POST, PRINT, SOCIAL PROFILE, and STANDARD.

    In the POPULAR template, you can find the size options like Square, Instagram Story, Facebook, Youtube thumbnail, Poster, and Landscape.

    If you’d like to upload your image to social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Youtube, LinkedIn, Snapchat or Twitter, you can find various size options in the SOCIAL POST tab.

    Here I’d like to set a custom size and click Next.

  4. Click Upload to upload the image you need to resize.
  5. Click Next when your image is uploaded to Spark.
  6. Select the text box and click the trash icon to remove the text.

  7. Click RESIZE.

  8. Set a custom size or apply different templates to your image to preview the effect.

  9. Click Download on the upper-right corner, select the file type of your resized image and click Start download to save the resized image to your local device. If you’d like to share it, just click the Share button.

Now this image has been resized.


The Paint app (for Windows users)

The Paint app is a built-in tool on your Windows PC that can help you resize iamges. Just follow the steps below to resize an image on the Paint app:

  1. Right-click on the image you want to resize, then select Edit.
  2. Click Resize.
  3. Set the percentage or how many pixels you want to resize your image by. Then click OK.
  4. Click the Save button to save the resized image.

Now this image has been resized.


The Photos app (for Windows users)

The Photos app is another built-in app on Windows OS that can help you resize an image. If you prefer to resize the iamge using the Photos app, just follow the steps below:

  1. Double-click on the image you want to resize to view it the Photos app. If the Pototo app is not the default app for opening image files, you can right-click on the image and select Open with > Photos.

  2. Click the the three dots in the top-right corner and select Resize.

  3. Select Define custom dimensions to set a new width and height of the image.

  4. Click Save resized copy and you’ll get a resized copy of the iamge.

The Preview app (for Mac users)

If you’re on a Mac computer, there is also a free way for you to resize images:

  1. On your Mac, open the Photos app.
  2. Right click the image you want to resize, then select Edit with > Preview.
  3. Click the Show Markup Toolbar button.
  4. Click the Adjust Size icon.
  5. Select the width and height you want to change your image to, then click OK.

Now this image has been resized.
