Try these fixes

All the 3 fixes below work both in Windows 10 and Windows 7.

You may not have to try all of them; just work your way down the list until you got the normal screen display back:

  1. Use the shortcut keys
  2. Update your graphics driver
  3. Change the display settings

Fix 1: Use the shortcut keys

  1. Right-click on the empty area of your desktop, select Graphics Options > Hot Keys > Enable to make sure the hotkeys are on. (Skip this step if you’re using Windows 7).
  2. On your keyboard, hold down Ctrl, Shift and press the Arrow keys (Up, Down, Right, Left – one at a time) until you rotate the screen to the right display.

Fix 2: Update your graphics driver

  1. Right-click on the empty area of your desktop and click Display settings.
  2.  In Orientation, select Landscape from the drop-down list.
  3.  Hopefully you have restored your screen back to normal this time.

  1. Click the Windows logo, type orientation and click Change screen orientation.
  2.  In Orientation, select Landscape from the drop-down list and click the Tab key > Enter to save the changes.
