1. Open Skype.

Add Legacy Hardware Manually

1. Go to Device Manager.


2. Click Action in top menu bar and select Add Legacy Hardware on drop-down menu.



3. Click Next.



4. Select option Install the hardware that I manually select from a list (Advanced). Then click Next.



5. Select Imaging devices and click Next.



6. Ignore the list and click Next.



7. Follow the remaining on-screen instructions to finish the installation.

Uninstall the Camera Driver 

Uninstall the driver then restart your PC for Windows to load the driver automatically.

Follow these steps:

1. Go to Device Manager.

2. Expand category “Imaging devices” and right-click on the camera device. (You may see a yellow mark next to the device.).



3. After uninstalling the driver, restart your PC then Windows will install the driver automatically.

Update the Camera Driver

First, try updating the driver via Device Manager:

1. In Device Manager, right-click on the camera device and select Update Driver Software…



2. Select Browse my computer for driver software.



3. Select Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer.



4. Select USB Video Device and click Next button.
