Step 3: If the network is working well but IE doesn’t work,  follow below instructions to troubleshoot the issue.

If you need to access internet through proxy server, check for the proxy settings in IE or proxy software.

If you use IE to connect to proxy server, follow these steps :

1). Click on Tools and select Internet Options then select Internet Options.

OR click on tools button then select Internet options.

2). Choose Connections tab and click on LAN settings button in the Internet Options window.

3). Make sure Automatically detect settings is unchecked. In Proxy server section, check if the Address and Port are correct. If they have no problem, you might need to contact the Administrator or the proxy service provider.

If you use proxy software, make sure the proxy configuration in that software has no problem.

If you access internet without proxy server, make sure LAN setting in IE is Automatically detecting setting.
Follows these steps to check for it.

1). Click on Tools and select Internet Options then select Internet Options.

OR click on tools button then select Internet options.

2). Choose Connections tab and click on LAN settings button in the Internet Options window.

3). Check the box next to Automatically detect settings and uncheck the box next to Use a proxy server for your LAN. Click Apply or OK button.
