Fix 1: Verify the game files

Corrupted or missing game files may lead to game crashing issues. In this case, you need to verify and repair the game files. Don’t worry. It’s quite easy! Here’s how to do it:

  1. Launch Steam, navigate to the LIBRARY tab and right-click on Hell Let Loose. Then select Properties.

  2. Click LOCAL FILES on the left, then click Verify integrity of game files…. If Steam finds anything wrong with the game files, it will re-download them from official server. It may take some time to complete the verifying process.

Fix 3: Install the latest game patch

Fix 6: Perform a clean boot

Another possible cause of the HLL crashing issue is program conflicts. If there is a certain program conflicting with HLL, it will lead to the crashing issues. In this case, you need to perform a clean boot to find out the problematic program that crashes the game. Here's how to do it:

  1. On your keyboard, press the Windows logo key and R at the same time to open the Run Dialog. Type msconfig and press Enter to open the System Configuration window.

  2. Navigate to the Services tab, check Hide all Microsoft services and then click Disable all.

  4. On the Startup tab in Task Manager, for each startup item, select the item and then click Disable.

  5. Go back to the System Configuration window and click OK.

Restart Windows OS and launch tha game to check if HLL crashes again. If HLL doesn't crash, you need to open the System Configuration window again to enable services and applications one by one until you find the problematic software that crashes HLL.

After enabling each services, you need to restart your PC to apply the changes.

Once you find out the problematic software that crashes HLL, you need to uninstall it to avoid game crashing issues in the future.

If the game still crashes after you disabled all the 3rd party apps and services, try reinstalling Hell Let Loose.

Normally, after reinstalling the game, you’ll be able to fix the crashing issue.
