Wi-Fi 6 is super fast. But for your AX200 to work properly, you’ll need the latest network drivers. Without the correct drivers, you’re likely to run into wireless issues such as stuttering and disconnecting. In this post, we’ll show you how you can get the latest correct drivers easily & quickly.
How to install the latest AX200 drivers
Option 1: Install automatically (Recommended) – Recommended if you want Windows to identify the correct driver for you with minimal manual work.
Option 2: Install manually – Recommended if you prefer to get the driver directly from Intel or the computer manufacturer.
Option 1: Install the latest AX200 driver automatically (Recommended)
If you’re not comfortable playing with device drivers, we recommend using Driver Easy. It’s a tool that detects, downloads, and installs any driver updates your computer needs.
Driver Easy can also help when the AX200 driver is missing or Windows cannot connect to Wi-Fi. In that situation, use its Offline Scan feature to identify the missing network driver on the affected PC and download the driver using another computer with Internet access.
- Download and install Driver Easy.
- Launch Driver Easy, then click Scan Now. Driver Easy will then scan your computer and detect any problem drivers.

- From the scan results, click the Activate & Update button next to the flagged Intel wireless adapter to update its driver. Or you can click Update All to automatically download and install the correct version of all the drivers that are missing or out of date on your system.

You’ll be prompted to upgrade to the Pro version to update the drivers. With Driver Easy Pro, you can update multiple drivers automatically, access advanced features such as driver backup and rollback, and also get full technical support. If you want to give it a try first, you can sign up for a 7-day free trial to unlock all the Pro features.
After installing the latest network driver, restart your PC and check the connection.
Option 2: Install the latest AX200 drivers manually
This will take some time and computer knowledge. If you know about computers, use the following steps to install the network drivers manually:
- Go to the Intel driver download center. Click Wireless.

- Type intel wi-fi 6 ax200 into the search bar at the top and select the correct driver from the results.

- Download the Wi-Fi driver exe file.

- Once done, double-click the file and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
- Restart your computer for the changes to take effect.
Then connect to your Wi-Fi network and test whether websites, downloads, or online applications work normally.
You can also download the Wi-Fi driver from your computer’s manufacturer support page. They may provide a driver customized for your specific PC.
Do you need to update the Intel AX200 driver?
Not necessarily. If your AX200 works reliably, connects normally, and provides the expected Wi-Fi performance, there is no need to update the driver simply because a newer Intel Wi-Fi package exists.
If you’re troubleshooting Wi-Fi disconnects, slow speeds, missing Wi-Fi, or an AX200 not being detected, however, reinstalling the appropriate driver can be a useful troubleshooting step.
Hopefully, you’ve updated the AX200 driver and can now enjoy the blazing-fast Wi-Fi 6. If you have any problems or ideas, feel free to talk to us in the comments below.
