If a recent driver update caused an issue, you can review what changed and choose what to restore via Driver Recovery. Here’s how to do it:
1) Open Driver Easy.
2) Click Tools and choose Driver Recovery tab. You can find the recent driver changes here.
Note: If you didn’t find any records here even after you updated drivers with Driver Easy Version 7.2.0, check if you turn on Driver Recovery under Settings > Scan & Update. This feature is set on by default.
3) Check the box for the drivers that caused an issue, and then click Review selected drivers. You can recover drivers from different dates or updates together.
4) Confirm your selection and click Start recovery. Otherwise, click Back in the top-left corner to choose again.
5) Wait until the process finishes.
6) You’ll receive a notification once completed. Click Done. Restart your computer if necessary.
7) A restored driver cannot be edited again. This driver will show up in the Update page when you run a new scan. If you want to avoid this version, hide this update following the steps here: Hide or Show Hidden Driver Update.
8) You can click Delete history to remove this record from Driver Recovery. It will not change the driver currently used by Windows. Also, you can delete the recovery files together by checking the box Also delete the unused recovery files.
To manage your recovery storage, go to Settings > Scan & Update, click View storage button.
Then expand the list to check details. You can click Clear all to delete all recovery files here.
